Heather Thirsk, B.Mus., founder
After working as a musician, performer, music director, and educator for 35 years, I am excited to now lead the growth of Eden School of Music in order to inspire both children and adults to enjoy music. I love performing, recording, and being involved at events and venues around the city, I began Eden in January of 2023. I teach both piano and voice, with an additional focus on stage performance and audience engagement.
About our Instructors
Our instructors are all active musicians in Calgary and abroad. Music is a major part of their life and passion, they look forward to positively influencing the students here at Eden as they start, or continue their path of music education and enjoyment.
About Eden
Tucked away in the quiet Calgary Southwest community of Glenbrook, Eden School of Music began with the desire to create a place for children, teens, and adults to enjoy what they are learning. Lessons are offered in voice, piano (pop and classical), drums, guitar, violin, cello and bass.
New for fall 2025: saxophone, clarinet, flute, and trumpet
Schedule and Rates
Our lesson rates for fall 2025 are:
$47 / half hour
$69 / 45min lesson
$93 / hour lesson
Fall, winter, spring, and summer lessons available. Mid semester registrations are also welcome.
Lessons are taught Monday through Friday.
Summer lessons also available.
Location & Contact
We are located at 3020 51 St SW, Calgary.
Lessons are held in Emmanuel Christian Church, entrance through the main doors.
